Chapter 8:  Requiem   
 "Go after Ko and Ryu.  You two injured them, right?  So they could not have gotten too far." That was the last thing that Neji had told Naruto and Hinata.  They had finally pulled him out of the crater, and then proceeded to lay him down on the ground to recover.     
 While he rested, Hinata and Naruto tore off after their foes, determined to finish what they had started a little while ago.

Chapter 7:  Eagles and Angels   
 Hinata's rain cloak flapped around her body, in line with the raging wind and the storm.  What she had just heard, however, was inconceivable.  Ko, a member of her own family, and a Branch member she had always been on friendly terms with, a traitor?  Working with a missing-nin, and attempting to wipe her team out?   
 "W-Why?"  Hinata asked, finding the question escaping her lips.   
 Heads turned on Hinata as she asked that question, then they all turned to Ko for his response.

Chapter 6:  The Edge of Betrayal   
 ‘Can Hinata keep it together?’  Naruto thought, sitting in a tree, watching the seemingly never-ending sky.   
 After Hinata’s suicide attempt the previous night, he wasn’t sure whether or not he should leave her alone or keep an eye on her.  He figured she was safe for now, because when he had carried her back into Ite’s home, she was asleep.   
 The blond swung his legs over the branch, as though ready to jump down, but halted.

Chapter 5:  Selfish and Forlorn   
 A cool wind whipped through the chasm, ruffling hair and any loose pieces of clothing worn by the triad of shinobi facing each other.   
 The muscular black man stood up tall, his face impassive as he shifted his gaze to the orange and black clad ninja with a mass of spiky blond hair.  His eyes swayed again, to glance at the shorter dark haired girl, standing behind the blond ninja.   
 Ryu, a former cloud shinobi, looked at one last thing; the swirling blue disc in the blond ninja’s hand.

Sigh.......school again.

I guess after nearly three months of just plain doing nothing, school crept up on me quicker than I expected. ^^;

Well, my first day was today, and all things considered, it was actually pretty good. No horrible teachers yet to speak of, but then again they haven't done much teaching so far. Just a myriad of papers and forms to get signed, and class rules and regulations to go over. Stuff we'll be covering over the year, etc. It went by pretty quickly, which makes me happy. :D Only...179 more days to go. Wow, it's really depressing to think about the days left to another summer vacation...I shouldn't even talk about it.

I'll really be leaning heavily on DA to take my mind away from school, I've barely scratched the surface of the writers and artists here on the site. :eager:
